To build the cocktail, blend the jalapeño simple syrup with tequila, chopped fresh peaches, fresh lime juice, and Triple Sec (or a similar orange liqueur). Ingredients
Jalapeño Simple Syrup
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 jalapeño, sliced
Margaritas
- 2 medium peaches, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 cup jalapeño simple syrup
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 1 ounce Triple Sec
- 2-3 ounces silver tequila adjust to taste
- 2 handfuls ice
Instructions

Combine the sugar, water, and sliced jalapeño in a small saucepan. Bring to a gentle simmer, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Press the jalapeño slices with a fork to release more flavor. Remove from the heat, let the syrup cool, then strain out the jalapeño slices.

To make the margaritas, combine the peaches, jalapeño simple syrup, lime juice, Triple Sec, tequila, and ice in a blender. Blend until smooth and pour into two glasses. Rim the glasses with coarse salt if desired.
